Are ALL the free servers in Maintenance?

Postby JBRadio » Sun 10th Jul, 2011 11:37 pm

s4.myradiostream.com is down, and so is all the rest when I checked. Is it really maint. or are they just DOWN?? It says "Database Server Unreachable. This may be due to server maintenance, please try again in a few minutes."

All free servers are in maintenance, except server 5 (s5) that is down.

Having just set up, & getting 1 day of great streaming... then comes the nightmare, since yesterday have not been able to log in to the control panel at all, the stream has been intermittent and half the time cannot even hear my own stream as I'm being told access is denied or connection denied ... :( managed to submit a ticket before the site disappeared though so I guess it's just a case of waiting for a response.

The AutoDJ is a decent feature, basic control panel, could do with a few tweaks though instead of having to rely on a 3rd party ftp program to view/manage the files on the server.

Is there any news on when the streaming will be accessible again???

I know it's free and all but so far it's useless. Anomalies... the banner won't appear but the stream plays but only on my computer in the flash player.

Logging in is impossible. I would shut down the stream to do maintenance but I can never get to it.

I have to say, if the banner ads pay for the free service then "they pay for it" if they don't why bother?

On another note, if one wants to _try_ the service and the free servers are such a cluster fu*k, what confidence are we to have that the paid service is any better?

It's a great offer for sure, but... it doesn't work.

I'll pay you, but not with real money.

USARadio, you've got my vote on that... It was working perfectly for me for like a week and now this happened and they have been down for quite some time now! It has been since yesterday from where Im at!

Here's a tip, BellOnline: The free service is supposed to convince people to buy the paid service, but if it is always down and people can barely use it, people will not be convinced to buy the paid service. You can make the free service better but not AS good as the paid service, and not loose your users...

Just an Idea...

Hello,

The issue is now resolved.

We had a major problem with the database server and it was unreachable for over a day.

Everything is now back up and no data has been lost.

Thank you for your patience.
