Buffer Problems. Maybe an issue ...

Hi there,

Ive someone on my team that buffer ever single day and i tell him thats a Net problem (he dont have at least 48 kbps on his Upload connection speed ) i think truelly that his net provider is a "sheet".

Today he ask me if i have one server that the port is less than 7000, i dont know what the number of port can do for that but well ... here is two questions:

Its possible to change the Port of my stream for a number less than 7000?
Have the Port Number something to do on the buffer ?

Hi Neo,

It is possible to change you to a lower port if you open a support ticket with the request - but I can't see any way of it possibly making a difference. It sounds like he doesn't have a fast enough connection to support the bitrate, or their could be a lot of lag between his ISP and the stream server.

I only have made the "comission", so if you think (like me) that the Port Number as nothing to do on the buffer problem dont bored for that.
