Has anyone managed to stream from Traktor? Please help!

Postby skillen » Sun 03rd Jul, 2011 12:31 pm

Hi,

I have set up a free account and wanted to try and stream from Traktor. I have used the following settings...

Proxy: Defualt (shouldn't need one)
Address: s6.myradiostream.com
Port: 43456
Mount Path: /stream.ogg
Password: **
Format: Ogg Vorbis, 44100 Hz, 128 kBit/s

I have also forwarded port 43456 to my IP address in my router (didn't think I should need to do this but tried it anyway). However it just doesn't connect (broadcast icon keeps flashing), I have made sure that my server is started. Has anyone else tried to use Traktor and can anyone offer any ideas for getting this working? I am assuming that the servers are up at the moment because I can ping s6.myradiostream.com. Thanks in advance for any help,

Chris.

Hi,

I don't think that Ogg vorbis will work with shoutcast - try using MP3 or AAC+
