Player shows song info but no music can be heard?! :(

Hello

Well, I'm using NiceCast to transmit to a ShoutCast Server in order for the music to be heard thru a streaming player. Yesterday it seemed to work fine... The song info was displayed and the music could be heard perfectly! But today when I go to my streaming player, all I could see was the song info but no music was heard. I tried pausing and pushing the play button but nothing... still the same.

I hit the [restart] button to see if it would solve the problem, but still, the song info was displayed, but the music couldn't be heard. I stopped the NiceCast broadcast and started it again.. still the same.

It seemed to work fine yesterday and just out of the blue, it started to give me problems. Could anybody tell me what can I do or where can I check to solve this little dilemma? All advices are welcomed and appreciated.

I'm not familiar with nicecast, but did you try going on to your Shoutcast DNAS page and check that it says you are online?

It might be worth noting that if you tried tuning in directly with winamp without visiting your page first then you may get an access denied error.
