I realise that the free servers are very busy at times but having signed up to test out the quality of the service before commiting to paid service via mixstream, I have to say as an experienced station manager I am very disappointed in the free service so far.. monitoring the station over the last 4/5 days the server has been down at least 3 times for extended periods.. I know from previous answers that free servers asren't monitored as often as paid ones ..My question is How unhappy are your advertisers with this situation the whole point of the free servers is that they are funded by the advertisers and therefore they are not recieving a quality of service that they should be.. Surely it would be in the interests of users and advertisers to have a reliable system.. Would it not be better all round if the free users were limited and servers were made more reliable..

Hi,

Please don't use the free service as a trial for our paid options. The services are in no way related, we use different servers, different networks and we have to pack the free servers as full as possible.

If you'd like a free trial of our paid service then you are more than welcome to email us at sales @ mixstream.net and we will provide you with a trial on our main servers.

I can understand that users would like a more reliable free service, and more servers are to be added to the network in the coming weeks - but it is difficult to keep up with the huge demand and not make a significant loss.
