Hi,
The free stream reliability is being worked on, I added a new server to the network last week and will be adding a new one at the end of this week as well. New users will be put onto the new servers and that will spread the load a bit more.
You should find that the existing servers have been more reliable this week.
It is my intention to get the free service to be as reliable as possible, but the reality is that for it to work, we have to use lower spec servers to save on costs and put more accounts on to each server which will inevitably lead to occasional unreliability in comparison to the paid servers which are much more powerful and have less customers on each.
For example, the typical spec for the free servers is 1.2GHz Celeron, 1GB RAM with 150+ streams at any time. The paid servers are a minimum of 3GHz Proessor, 1-2GB RAM and host no more than 40-50 streams at any one time.
Over the last few months, I've been working on the reliability thing by setting inactive servers to shut down automatically to free up resources, but with it being more difficult to get the same deal on the servers I've been unable to add more to the network until last week which did cause problems.
I hope this explains things
