S6 yellow - cannot connect

Hi, first time here and totally new to this so apologies if I get things a bit wrong.
On my shoutcast panel I can only get the server 'light' to yellow or red, is this normal as would expect green for on-line. Additionally, cannot get winamp to connect. Could the two issues be related?

OK, so after trawling through lots of other people having issues I eventually find that when the server is up and online the 'light' should be orange. So if my server is running, why can I not connnect using the details I was given at sign-up and following the tutorial? Something must be wrong somewhere. Anyone got a clue please?
Perhaps I should raise a ticket to get a response.

Please check that your password is correct and the other details. If the icon is yellow then it means that your server is waiting for your stream.
