Your problem may lie a bit deeper... I went to the station and it was unavailable .. the ads aren't showing
the player says "Play" ... then switches to "IO:Disconnected".. I have seen this when my server wasn't correctly configured and also when the ad server was down. So at this time I'm not sure if you have a config problem or if because the ads aren't showing .. the player is refusing to connect.
I did notice on both yours and mine (
http://s5.myradiostream.com/25598.htm) show the player and under it it says:
***************************************************************************
Can't hear anything? Please try one of the player links.
Play stream in WinampWinamp/iTunes
Play stream in Windows Media PlayerWindows Media Player
Play stream in Real PlayerReal Player
Connection refused, the server appears to be offline.
***************************************************************************
Even though my page shows the same message as yours ... my radio does play. The ads show up on mine though.
Strange thing is ... when I went to my station... at first it didnt play ... but my external player worked.
The second time I went to the site the web player played ... but I still show the above message about connection refused, the server appears to be offline...
>just checked my s5 link again ... it didn't play for me ... refreshed the page .. still didnt play... refreshed again and it played ... tried a couple time more and it played each time. It does show my station title in the player (yours doesn't) and every time it showed the connection refused message below the external links.
Its hard to say .. sounds like the uk1-free server is about to crash and thats why its not playing for me
The connection refused problem is most likely some permissions may not be set up right on the servers but not for the player .. just for the info thats supposed to show under the external links
I guess we will have to wait and see what Gavin has to say about the issues
