Streaming con Virtual Dj

Hola a todos.Quisiera saber como se configura el VirtualDj para transmitir con SHoutcast.Al introducir s3.mystream.com en la direccion IP no la reconoce.Cual seria la IP en numeros?desde ya gracias

Open VirtualDJ and select the "Record" tab. Then, you must go to "Broadcast" and tick the radio button "Broadcast to a radio server". Once activated, tipe in you server in the "Server" box. the format must be like this: http://sX.myradiostream.com/XXXXX.htm. Replace the "X"s with your own server info and port numbers. In my case, it's http://s7.myradiostream.com/33118.htm.
Then, retype the port number in the box next to the server information.
Below, type your login info to your radio server. Type the genre info if you want to.
Finally, just click OK and Start Recording, and you're done.
This worked for me.

PS: If you're behind a firewall, there's a slight possibility that you'll need to open your port to allow access.

Also worth noting that if you need to open the port on your firewall then you need to actually open the stream port and the next port up as the source actually streams TO the server using the next port.

Some source software also requires you to put the port+1 as the stream port (but most just ask for the listener port and add 1 in the background to make it easier for people).
