Syndicating a show

Postby UnkleBonehead » Fri 23rd Jul, 2010 7:03 pm

With the free stream hosting service are we able to allow a Live 365 station to relay our 2 hour live show on their station? Vice-versa am I allowed to stream someone else's show? I didnt see anything in the knowledge base about it. I would assume that I could air someone else's but not sure on them doing ours.

Thanks for the info Gavin but I should have worded it differently. Where do I get the settings from to put in? Are the relay server and port the same that I use to stream to or do I have to get a separate server for the relay?
I have no experience with this.

Hi,

This depends.

If you're using another provider like Live365 to relay your FreeStreamHosting (FSH) server, then you will need to put in the details of your FSH server into the Live365 panel somewhere (if they allow relay settings). These will be the address (e.g s1.myradiostream.com) and the port (e.g 8910).

If you're using your FSH server to relay another host, then you will need to get the address and port of the server with them and enter it into the relay fields in your FSH control panel.

I hope that explains things better.
