Wanting to play Windows Media streams on my website

Postby WWPMMediaNet » Thu 16th Dec, 2010 3:47 am

The flash player code won't work on my new website and I'm wanting to use the Windows Media stream, which will work with the right coding. Currently, the player will show, but no audio will play. Here is the coding:

<b>Server Stream 1</b><br><object id="MediaPlayer" type="application/x-oleobject" standby="Radio Is Offline." classid="CLSID:6BF52A52-394A-11D3-B153-00C04F79FAA6" width="100%" height="45">
<param name="url" value="http://s7.myradiostream.com:16172.asx" />
<param name="rate" value="1" />
<param name="balance" value="0" />
<param name="currentposition" value="0" />
<param name="defaultframe" value="" />
<param name="playcount" value="1" />
<param name="autostart" value="0" />
<param name="currentmarker" value="0" />
<param name="invokeurls" value="-1" />

I have also tried with the web address (e.g. http://s5.myradiostream:31416). Can you help? (You can get a better idea by looking here: http://www.wwpmmedianet.info/listen.html)

One more stipulation, if possible: it needs to be compatible with the major web browsers.

The free service is ad supported, you need to place the 'ad code' onto your page. If you log in to the control panel and look for scripts on the menu then you will find the code there.
